// HOW WE CONNECT

Connecting SAS Online

MyAlgoMate connects to SAS Online through its Alpha API. SAS Online is now known as Stocko, and your existing login carries over. Once API access is enabled on your account, you enable TOTP two-factor authentication, then enter your Login ID, Password and TOTP key into the broker login form in MyAlgoMate — there is no separate API key to generate.

// WHAT YOU CAN AUTOMATE

Use SAS Online with

Your SAS Online account works with all 6 of these MyAlgoMate products — plus custom automation of your own strategy.

// SETUP

Setting up SAS Online

Step 1 — Enable API access on your SAS Online (Stocko) account

SAS Online has rebranded to Stocko — your existing Login ID, password and account work unchanged on stocko.in.
  • If API access isn't already active, email SAS Online / Stocko support (support@sasonline.in or support@stocko.in) and ask them to enable Alpha API access on your account.
  • Note your Login ID (Client ID) — the one you use to log in.

Step 2 — Enable TOTP and copy your TOTP key

SAS Online (Stocko) uses TOTP as the second factor. MyAlgoMate signs in for you, so it needs the TOTP secret key itself rather than a 6-digit code you type in.
  • In your SAS Online (Stocko) account security settings, enable/register TOTP two-factor authentication.
  • When the QR code appears, save the secret key it contains — most authenticator apps show a “can't scan the code?” or manual-entry option that reveals it. This secret key is the TOTP key MyAlgoMate needs.
  • Scan the QR code into your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) as well, so you can still sign in yourself.

Step 3 — Enter the details in MyAlgoMate

  • Open the broker login form in MyAlgoMate and enter your Login ID, Password and TOTP key, then save.

What you need to collect

To connect SAS Online (Stocko), the broker login form in MyAlgoMate needs three details:

  • Login ID — your SAS Online (Stocko) Client ID, the one you log in with
  • Password — your SAS Online (Stocko) account password
  • TOTP key — the secret key from the TOTP setup in your account security settings

There is no separate API key or secret to generate — SAS Online's Alpha API uses your Login ID, Password and TOTP directly.

No API key or Redirect URL needed

The Alpha API uses a direct login, so there is no API key, API secret or Redirect URL to generate or set. You enable API access on your account, set up TOTP, and enter your three details. If API access isn't enabled yet, email SAS Online / Stocko support to switch it on.

Use TOTP for unattended login

MyAlgoMate signs in to SAS Online (Stocko) for you each session and uses the TOTP secret key to generate the 6-digit code automatically — so you don't type a code in every time. Enable TOTP and save the secret key during setup.

Cost

SAS Online's Alpha API is free to use. (Your brokerage plan is separate and unaffected.)

Keep your credentials private

Because SAS Online (Stocko) connects with your Login ID, Password and TOTP secret — not a separate revocable API key — treat these as the keys to your own trading account and never share them. MyAlgoMate provides the automation technology; you set the rules and stay in control of your own trades.

// FAQ

SAS Online — questions

What SAS Online details does MyAlgoMate need?

Just three: your Login ID (Client ID), your account Password, and your TOTP secret key. SAS Online's Alpha API doesn't use a separate API key or secret.

Is SAS Online the same as Stocko?

Yes — SAS Online has rebranded to Stocko. Your existing Login ID, password and account carry over unchanged, and the Alpha API works the same way.

How do I enable API access for SAS Online?

If it isn't already active on your account, email SAS Online / Stocko support (support@sasonline.in or support@stocko.in) and ask them to enable Alpha API access.

Where do I find my SAS Online TOTP key?

In your account's security / two-factor settings, enable TOTP. When the QR code appears, use the manual-entry (“can't scan the code?”) option to reveal the secret key — that is the TOTP key MyAlgoMate needs. Scan the QR into your authenticator app too.

Do I need a static IP or Redirect URL for SAS Online?

No. The Alpha API uses a direct login — there's no Redirect URL to set, and no separate static IP registration is required for SAS Online.
