Setting up SAAR Securities India Pvt. Ltd. - XTS & GREEKS
Option A — Symphony XTS API
Step 1 — Get your XTS credentials from SAAR
Contact your SAAR Relationship Manager (RM) and ask them to map your trading account to the XTS API. Once mapping is complete, your broker provides your XTS Terminal Client ID and (if required) Password, your Market API Key and Secret, your Interactive API Key and Secret, and your Base URL and Host Lookup URL. Enter the URLs exactly as your RM shares them.
Step 2 — Configure SAAR (XTS) in MyAlgoMate
Open MyAlgoMate, go to the SAAR (XTS) configuration screen, and enter your Client ID, Market API Key, Market API Secret, Interactive API Key, Interactive API Secret, Base URL and Host Lookup URL. Enable the Binary Market Data option before you log in.
Step 3 — Select your user type (XTS)
Choose Dealer for most retail trading accounts, or PRO for proprietary (prop) accounts. For a Dealer account, enter the Dealer Code — in most cases it is the same as your Client ID. If unsure, confirm your user type with your RM.
Step 4 — Save and connect
Once all the details and server URLs are entered correctly, save — MyAlgoMate connects to your SAAR XTS account.
Option B — Greeks API
Step 1 — Get your Greeks API details from SAAR
Contact your SAAR Relationship Manager (RM) and request the details required for API integration. Your broker provides:
- Client ID
- CTCL password
- Greek password
- Session Token URL
- WebSocket URL
- Base URL
Enter the exact URLs shared by your broker — incorrect URLs will prevent the API from connecting.
Step 2 — Configure SAAR (Greeks) in MyAlgoMate
Open MyAlgoMate, go to the SAAR (Greeks) configuration screen, and enter your Client ID, CTCL password, Greek password, Session Token URL, WebSocket URL and Base URL exactly as shared by your RM.
Step 3 — Select your user type (Greeks)
Choose Client for a retail account, or Dealer for a proprietary (prop) account. If your account is a prop (Dealer) account, you also receive a Dealer Code — enter it in MyAlgoMate. If unsure, confirm your user type with your RM.
Step 4 — Save and connect
Once all the details and URLs are entered correctly, save — MyAlgoMate connects to your SAAR Greeks account.
What you need from your broker
The credentials depend on which API your SAAR account uses. Your Relationship Manager (RM) will confirm which one applies to you.
For the Symphony XTS API
- XTS Terminal Client ID — your XTS login id
- XTS Terminal Password — only if a password is mandatory at your broker (not all brokers require one)
- Market API Key + Secret — the Market Data API pair
- Interactive API Key + Secret — the Interactive (order) API pair
- Base URL + Host Lookup URL — your broker's XTS server addresses; enter them exactly as shared
For the Greeks API
- Client ID — your trading account id
- CTCL password — your CTCL password
- Greek password — your Greeks API password
- Session Token URL — provided by your broker
- WebSocket URL — provided by your broker
- Base URL — provided by your broker
Enter the exact URLs shared by your broker. Incorrect URLs will prevent the API from connecting.
Enable Binary Market Data (XTS only)
If you connect via the Symphony XTS API, turn on the Binary Market Data option on the SAAR (XTS) configuration screen before you connect. This step does not apply to the Greeks API.
Choose your user type
On the XTS API
- Dealer — for most retail trading accounts; the Dealer Code is usually the same as your Client ID.
- PRO — for proprietary (prop) trading accounts.
On the Greeks API
- Client — for retail accounts.
- Dealer — for proprietary (prop) accounts; a prop account also receives a Dealer Code to enter.
If you are unsure which user type applies, confirm it with your SAAR RM.
Keep your credentials private
Your passwords, API keys and secrets are the keys to your own trading account — never share them with anyone. MyAlgoMate provides the automation technology; you set the rules and stay in control of your own trades.
