Connecting Jainam Duck

Setting up Jainam Duck
Step 1 — Note your Jainam Duck Client ID
- Log in to your Jainam Duck (Spark) terminal at spark.jainam.in.
- Open your profile section and note your Client ID — that's the only detail you enter in MyAlgoMate.
There's no API key or secret to generate for Jainam Duck — the connection uses Jainam's single sign-on. MyAlgoMate holds the vendor app credentials; you only need your Client ID.
Step 2 — Enter your Client ID in MyAlgoMate
- Open the broker login form in MyAlgoMate, choose Jainam Duck, and enter your Client ID.
Step 3 — Authorise the connection each trading day
Jainam Duck uses a daily single sign-on. Each trading day, MyAlgoMate sends you to Jainam's login page — sign in with your Jainam password and PIN to authorise the connection for the day.
- Before you authorise, log out of any other Jainam platforms (Spark/Duck, XTS, ProTrade, etc.) in the same browser — an active session elsewhere can block the login.
- Use your PIN when prompted. Don't enable TOTP for Jainam Duck — the SSO login uses your password and PIN.
- The broker login window is roughly 08:30 AM to 3:28 PM IST.
What you need to collect
Jainam Duck connects through Jainam's single sign-on, so there's only one detail to enter in MyAlgoMate:
- Client ID — your Jainam Duck (Spark) client id, from your profile at spark.jainam.in
There's no API key, API secret, Vendor Code or Redirect URL to generate — MyAlgoMate holds the vendor credentials for the SSO.
How the daily login works
Jainam Duck uses a daily single sign-on rather than an unattended token. Each trading day you authorise the connection once by logging in on Jainam's own page with your password and PIN — MyAlgoMate then trades for the rest of the session to the rules you set.
- Log out of other Jainam platforms first — an active session elsewhere can block the SSO login.
- Use your PIN, not TOTP — the Jainam Duck SSO login is password + PIN.
The login window is roughly 08:30 AM–3:28 PM IST.
No API key or Redirect URL needed
You don't generate an API key or set a Redirect URL for Jainam Duck. MyAlgoMate is registered with Jainam as the connecting application and holds those vendor credentials; you only provide your Client ID and authorise the daily login.
Keep your account secure
Your Jainam password and PIN are the keys to your own trading account — never share them, and only enter them on Jainam's own login page. MyAlgoMate provides the automation technology; you set the rules and stay in control of your own trades.
