Algo trading with Zebu
Connect your Zebu account to MyAlgoMate and automate your execution — one-click orders, risk controls and fast exits, no coding required.
Connecting Zebu
MyAlgoMate connects to Zebu through its official MYNT API. You generate an API Key and note your Vendor Code in the Zebu MYNT settings, enable TOTP on your Zebu account, register a static IP as Zebu requires, and then enter your Client ID, Password, Vendor Code, API Key and TOTP key into the broker login form in MyAlgoMate.

Setting up Zebu
Step 1 — Generate your API Key and note your Vendor Code
- Log in to Zebu MYNT at mynt.zebuetrade.com with your Zebu credentials.
- Open your profile (Client Code, top-right) and go to Settings, then generate your API Key — choose the longest validity offered (up to 10 years) and copy it. This key is what MyAlgoMate uses as the API secret when it logs in for you.
- Note your Vendor Code shown alongside the API Key — MyAlgoMate needs it too.
- Note your Client ID — your Zebu (MYNT) user id, the one you log in with.
Step 2 — Enable TOTP and copy your TOTP key
Zebu uses TOTP as the second factor. MyAlgoMate signs in for you, so it needs the TOTP secret key itself rather than a 6-digit code you type in.
- In Zebu MYNT settings, enable/register TOTP.
- When the QR code appears, save the secret key it contains — most authenticator apps show a “can't scan the code?” or manual-entry option that reveals it. This secret key is the TOTP key MyAlgoMate needs.
- Scan the QR code into your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) as well, so you can still sign in yourself.
Step 3 — Register your static IP (mandatory)
A registered static IP is required for placing orders through the API (SEBI retail algo-trading rules, in force since 1 April 2026). Zebu only accepts API orders that originate from your registered static IP.
- Register your static IP against your Zebu API access.
- Which IP to use: if you run MyAlgoMate on your own machine, use your ISP's static IP; if you run it on a cloud machine, use that cloud server's static IP.
No static IP or cloud machine yet? Our Cloud Server for Algo Trading is a cloud machine specialised for algo trading, and it comes with its own static IP you can register.
Step 4 — Enter the details in MyAlgoMate
- Open the broker login form in MyAlgoMate and enter your Client ID, Password, Vendor Code, API Key and TOTP key, then save.
What you need to collect
To connect Zebu (MYNT), the broker login form in MyAlgoMate needs five details:
- Client ID — your Zebu (MYNT) user id, the one you log in with
- Password — your Zebu (MYNT) account password
- Vendor Code — shown in the Zebu MYNT settings, next to your API Key
- API Key — generated in the Zebu MYNT settings — it acts as the API secret for login
- TOTP key — the secret key from the TOTP setup in your Zebu MYNT settings
One more thing is set on Zebu's side rather than entered here: your registered static IP.
No Redirect URL needed
Zebu's MYNT API uses a direct login, so there is no Redirect URL or postback URL to set anywhere. You only generate the API Key + Vendor Code, enable TOTP, register your static IP, and enter the five details above.
Static IP — required by Zebu
Since 1 April 2026, SEBI's retail algo-trading rules require a registered static IP for API order placement — Zebu only accepts API orders that originate from your registered static IP. Use your ISP's static IP if you run MyAlgoMate on your own machine, or your cloud machine's static IP if you run it on a server.
If you don't have a static IP, our Cloud Server for Algo Trading is a cloud machine built for algo trading and includes a static IP you can register.
Keep your credentials private
Your Password, API Key and TOTP key are the keys to your own trading account — never share them with anyone. MyAlgoMate provides the automation technology; you set the rules and stay in control of your own trades.
Zebu — questions
What Zebu details does MyAlgoMate need?
Five: your Client ID, your Password, your Vendor Code, your API Key, and your TOTP key. You enter all five in the broker login form in MyAlgoMate. Separately, you must register a static IP on Zebu's side.
Where do I get my Zebu API Key and Vendor Code?
Log in to Zebu MYNT at mynt.zebuetrade.com, open your profile (Client Code, top-right), go to Settings and generate your API Key (choose the longest validity offered, up to 10 years). Your Vendor Code is shown alongside the API Key.
Where do I find my Zebu TOTP key?
In your Zebu MYNT settings, enable/register TOTP. When the QR code appears, use the manual-entry option to reveal the secret key and save it — that secret is the TOTP key MyAlgoMate needs.
Do I need a Redirect URL for Zebu?
No. The MYNT API uses a direct login, so there is no Redirect URL or postback URL to set — you only enter your Client ID, Password, Vendor Code, API Key and TOTP key.
Do I need a static IP for Zebu API trading?
Yes. A registered static IP is required for API order placement under SEBI's retail algo-trading rules, and Zebu only accepts API orders from your registered static IP. You can use your own ISP's static IP or a cloud server's static IP.
