Connecting TradeJini Cube Plus
MyAlgoMate connects to Tradejini through their official CubePlus API. You register an app in the Tradejini developer portal to get your API Key and API Secret, enable TOTP on your account, register a static IP, and then enter your API Key, API Secret, Client ID, Password and TOTP key into the broker login form in MyAlgoMate.

Setting up TradeJini Cube Plus
Step 1 — Register an app in the developer portal
The CubePlus API is free — Tradejini offers API access at no cost, so there is no subscription to buy. You only need an active Tradejini trading account.
- Go to the Tradejini developer portal and sign in with your Tradejini account.
- Open Apps and create a new application. Tradejini then issues two credentials — copy both:
- API Key — identifies your app
- API Secret — keep it private; never share it
Step 2 — Enable TOTP on your Tradejini account
Tradejini's login accepts either an SMS/email OTP or a TOTP code from an authenticator app. MyAlgoMate signs in for you and cannot read an SMS, so choose TOTP and keep its secret key.
- In your Tradejini account settings, enable TOTP / two-factor authentication using an authenticator app.
- When the QR code appears, save the secret key it contains — most authenticator apps show a “can't scan the code?” or manual-entry option that reveals it. This secret key is the TOTP key MyAlgoMate needs.
- Scan the QR code into your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) so you can still sign in to Tradejini yourself.
Step 3 — Register your static IP
Under the SEBI retail algo-trading rules in force since 1 April 2026, API order placement must originate from a registered static IP. Register your static IP with Tradejini for API trading.
- Which IP to use: if you run MyAlgoMate on your own machine, use your ISP's static IP; if you run it on a cloud machine, use that cloud server's static IP.
No static IP or cloud machine yet? Our Cloud Server for Algo Trading is a cloud machine specialised for algo trading, and it comes with its own static IP you can register.
Step 4 — Enter the details in MyAlgoMate
- Open the broker login form in MyAlgoMate and enter your API Key, API Secret, Client ID, Password and TOTP key, then save.
What you need to collect
To connect Tradejini, the broker login form in MyAlgoMate needs five details:
- API Key — from the app you register in the developer portal
- API Secret — issued alongside it; keep it private
- Client ID — your Tradejini client id, the one you sign in with
- Password — your Tradejini account password
- TOTP key — the secret key you saved when enabling TOTP
One more thing is set on Tradejini's side rather than entered here: your registered static IP.
Choose TOTP, not the SMS OTP
Tradejini's login accepts two kinds of second factor: a one-time password sent by SMS or email, or a TOTP code from an authenticator app. MyAlgoMate signs in to your account for you, so it has no way to receive an SMS — which makes TOTP the one that works unattended. Enable TOTP on your account, give MyAlgoMate the secret key behind the QR code, and keep the authenticator app on your phone for your own logins.
The CubePlus API is free
Tradejini does not charge for CubePlus API access — it is offered at no cost, so there is no subscription to buy and nothing to renew. You only need an active Tradejini trading account. (Tradejini's own brokerage for the trades you place is separate and depends on your plan.)
No Redirect URL needed
If you have connected other brokers before, you may be looking for a Redirect URL or callback field. Tradejini does not use one. Its authorisation is a direct API call rather than a browser journey — your app's API Key together with your password and TOTP returns an access token straight away — so there is nothing of that kind to configure here.
Static IP — required for API trading
Under the SEBI retail algo-trading rules in force since 1 April 2026, API order placement must originate from a registered static IP, so you need to register one with Tradejini. Use your ISP's static IP if you run MyAlgoMate on your own machine, or your cloud machine's static IP if you run it on a server.
If you don't have a static IP, our Cloud Server for Algo Trading is a cloud machine built for algo trading and includes a static IP of your own that you can register.
Keep your credentials private
Your API Secret, password and TOTP key are the keys to your own trading account — never share them with anyone. MyAlgoMate provides the automation technology; you set the rules and stay in control of your own trades.
TradeJini Cube Plus — questions
Do I need to pay for the Tradejini CubePlus API?
No. Tradejini offers CubePlus API access free of cost, so there is no subscription for API access. You only need an active Tradejini trading account. Tradejini's own brokerage for the trades you place is separate and depends on your plan.
What Tradejini details does MyAlgoMate need?
Five: your API Key and API Secret from the app you register in the Tradejini developer portal, your Client ID, your account Password, and your TOTP key. You enter all five in the broker login form in MyAlgoMate. Separately, you register a static IP on Tradejini's side.
Where do I get my Tradejini API Key and Secret?
Sign in to the Tradejini developer portal at developer.tradejini.com, open Apps and create a new application. Tradejini issues the API Key and API Secret straight away, and those are what you enter in MyAlgoMate.
Should I use TOTP or the SMS OTP for Tradejini?
TOTP. Tradejini's login accepts either an SMS/email one-time password or a TOTP code from an authenticator app, but MyAlgoMate signs in for you and cannot receive an SMS. Enable TOTP on your account and give MyAlgoMate the secret key behind the QR code.
Does Tradejini need a Redirect URL?
No. Tradejini's authorisation is a direct API call rather than a browser login journey, so there is no Redirect URL or callback field to register. Your API Key, password and TOTP are what produce the access token.
Do I need a static IP for Tradejini API trading?
Yes — under the SEBI retail algo-trading rules in force since 1 April 2026, API order placement must come from a registered static IP, so register one with Tradejini. Use your ISP's static IP if you run MyAlgoMate on your own machine, or your cloud machine's static IP if you run it on a server. If you don't have one, our Cloud Server for Algo Trading includes a static IP.
