Algo trading via the XTS API
Many Indian brokers offer automated trading through the Symphony XTS API. If your broker runs on XTS, connect your account to MyAlgoMate and automate your execution — one-click orders, risk controls and fast exits, no coding required.
Connecting through XTS
MyAlgoMate connects through the Symphony XTS API. Your broker's Relationship Manager (RM) or dealer maps your trading account to the XTS API and provides your credentials — a Client ID (and a Password, if your broker requires one), your Market Data and Interactive API keys and secrets, and your Base URL and Host Lookup URL. You enter these on the XTS screen in MyAlgoMate, enable Binary Market Data, choose your user type, and connect.

Setting up your XTS connection
Step 1 — Get your XTS credentials from your broker
- Contact your broker's Relationship Manager (RM) or dealer and ask them to map your trading account to the XTS API.
- Once mapping is complete, your broker provides your XTS Terminal Client ID (and an XTS Terminal Password, if your broker requires one).
- Market Data API — your Market API Key and Market API Secret.
- Interactive API — your Interactive API Key and Interactive API Secret.
- Server details — your Base URL and Host Lookup URL. Enter these exactly as your RM shares them.
- If TOTP is mandatory at your broker: log in to your terminal with the Client ID and Password from your RM, go to Profile → Register for TOTP, copy the TOTP secret, and scan the QR code into Google Authenticator.
Step 2 — Configure your account in MyAlgoMate
- Open MyAlgoMate and go to the XTS configuration screen for your broker.
- Enter your Client ID, Password (if applicable), TOTP secret (if applicable), Market API Key, Market API Secret, Interactive API Key, Interactive API Secret, Base URL and Host Lookup URL.
- Enable the Binary Market Data option before you connect.
Step 3 — Choose your user type
- Dealer — for most retail trading accounts.
- PRO — for proprietary (prop) trading accounts.
- If you choose Dealer, enter the Dealer Code — in most cases it is the same as your Client ID. If you are unsure of your user type, confirm it with your RM.
Step 4 — Save and connect
Once all the details and server URLs are entered correctly, save — MyAlgoMate connects to your broker's XTS account and you're ready to automate.

How do I get XTS API access for my broker?
XTS API access is arranged by your broker, not by MyAlgoMate. Ask your Relationship Manager or dealer to map your trading account to the XTS API — they issue your Client ID, API keys and secrets, and the server URLs you enter in MyAlgoMate.
Which credentials do I need to connect?
Your Client ID (and Password, if required), Market and Interactive API keys and secrets, your Base URL and Host Lookup URL, and a TOTP secret if your broker enforces TOTP. Enter them on the XTS screen and enable Binary Market Data before connecting.
