# Copy trading

Also called: Trade copier, Copy trader, Mirror trading, Copy trading software

## Meaning

Copy trading is placing an order in one trading account, the master, and having the same order placed automatically in other linked accounts, the children. Software sends each copy through the broker's official API, and each child can be sized with its own multiplier.
