# Copy trading with Zebu

Place an order once and have it copied into every account you link — between Zebu accounts, or between Zebu and any of 152 other Indian brokers. Zebu can be the master you trade in, or a child that receives the copies, each child sized by its own multiplier.

## Does MyAlgoMate's copy trading work with Zebu?

Yes. MyAlgoMate's Copy Trading Software connects to Zebu through Zebu MYNT API. A Zebu account can be the master — the account you trade in — or a child that receives a copy of every order, and it can copy to or from 152 other Indian brokers. Check Zebu's current API charges. The software runs on your own Windows PC or cloud server, so your Zebu logins stay on your machine. MyAlgoMate provides technology only, not investment advice.

// HOW IT WORKS

## Zebu as the master, Zebu as a child

Copy trading has two roles. The master is the account you trade in; every child gets a copy of each order.

Master

### Trade in Zebu, copy everywhere

You place orders in your Zebu account exactly as you do today. The software watches that account and places the same order in each child account — at Zebu or at any other supported broker.

Zebu API as master: Check with Zebu for its current API charges.

Child

### Copy into Zebu from anywhere

Your master can be at another broker and this Zebu account follows it, trading the master's quantity times its own multiplier. Nothing is installed for a child account.

Zebu API as child: Check with Zebu for its current API charges.

// BEFORE YOU START

## What you need

- A Windows PC, or a Windows cloud machine you rent, that stays on and connected during market hours.
- A MyAlgoMate Copy Trading subscription covering your master and the child accounts you want copying.
- Zebu API access for each Zebu account. Check with Zebu for its current API charges.
- A static IP registered with Zebu for each Zebu account — and, for accounts at other brokers, one registered with their broker. No static IP yet? Our [Cloud Server for Algo Trading](https://myalgomate.com/products/cloud-server-for-algo-trading) comes with one, and the free [static IP checker](https://myalgomate.com/tools/static-ip-checker) shows the IP you connect from.
- TOTP turned on for each Zebu account, with its secret key saved.

// STEP BY STEP

## Set up copy trading with Zebu

Six steps, from API keys to the first copied order. No coding at any point.

1. Step 1 ### Get your Zebu API details 1. In Zebu MYNT, open your profile → Settings, generate an API Key (choose the longest validity offered) and note your Vendor Code.
2. Enable TOTP and save the secret key.
3. Register your static IP. Do this for every Zebu account you will use, master and children alike. [The full Zebu setup, field by field →](https://myalgomate.com/brokers/zebu)
2. Step 2 ### Install the software and sign in Install MyAlgoMate's Copy Trading Software on a Windows PC or a Windows cloud machine that stays on during market hours, and sign in with your MyAlgoMate account. Turn on *Set time automatically* in Windows first: Zebu logins use a TOTP code worked out from the clock, and a clock that is out by a minute makes them fail. [Read this step in the user guide →](https://myalgomate.com/guide/copy-trading-software#install-first-run)
3. Step 3 ### Add Zebu as your master or as a child On the ACCOUNTS screen press **Add Master** (the account you trade in) or **Add Child** (an account that receives copies). Choose Zebu, type an A/C Name you will recognise and enter Client ID, Password, Vendor Code, API Key and TOTP key. If this account connects through its own static IP (a proxy), fill in the account's proxy block too. [Read this step in the user guide →](https://myalgomate.com/guide/copy-trading-software#add-child-account)
4. Step 4 ### Run the broker IP check The check opens by itself when you save the account. It confirms Zebu accepts orders from this account's IP before the market opens, so you never find out from a rejected order. You can re-run it any time from the account's ⋯ menu. [Read this step in the user guide →](https://myalgomate.com/guide/copy-trading-software#broker-ip-check)
5. Step 5 ### Set each child's multiplier and segments Every child account trades the master's quantity times its own multiplier — whole numbers, fractions or decimals, and a different figure per segment if you want. Untick any segment you don't want copied into that account. [Read this step in the user guide →](https://myalgomate.com/guide/copy-trading-software#per-child-multipliers)
6. Step 6 ### Log in all accounts and start copying Press **Login All**: the master logs in first, then the children. Press **START COPY** and trade as you always do — in Zebu's own app or terminal, or from your own algo. Each order is copied into every child account the moment it appears. [Read this step in the user guide →](https://myalgomate.com/guide/copy-trading-software#start-copy)

// ANY BROKER

## Copy between Zebu and other brokers

// FAQ

## Copy trading with Zebu — questions

Can I do copy trading with Zebu?

Yes. MyAlgoMate's Copy Trading Software connects to Zebu through Zebu MYNT API. A Zebu account can be the master — the account you trade in — or a child that receives a copy of every order, and it can copy to or from accounts at any of the other 152 supported brokers.

Do I need a paid Zebu API for copy trading?

Check with Zebu for its current API charges.

Does every Zebu account need a static IP?

Yes. Every account that places orders through a broker API — the master and each child — needs a static IP registered with its broker, and orders from an unregistered IP are rejected. At Zebu: Registered with Zebu. The software lets you give each account its own proxy, so accounts can connect from different static IPs.

Do I have to log in to Zebu every day?

No. You enter each Zebu account's details once, and the software logs it in for you using the TOTP key. Nobody needs to log in to Zebu separately.

Can I copy trades from Zebu to another broker?

Yes. The master and every child can be at different brokers. Place an order in your Zebu master and it is copied into child accounts at Zerodha, Angel One, Upstox or any other supported broker — or make Zebu the child of a master held elsewhere.

Can one Zebu account copy into several other Zebu accounts?

Yes. Add one Zebu account as the master and the others as children. Each child is sized by its own multiplier, and each one needs its own Zebu API access and its own registered static IP.

What Zebu details does the software need?

Client ID, Password, Vendor Code, API Key and TOTP key, plus the account's Client ID. You enter them once, and they are stored on your own machine — never on MyAlgoMate's servers.

Can I keep trading in Zebu's own app while copying?

Yes. The software watches your master account's order book, so an order placed in Zebu's app, its website or your own algo is copied the same way. If your own algo also signs in with the same Zebu API key, ask us on WhatsApp before you start — brokers set their own rules on one API key being used by two programs at once.

How fast are orders copied into Zebu?

The software sends the child orders as soon as the master's order appears. What you actually see also depends on how quickly each broker's API replies and on your internet connection; a cloud machine with a good connection is quicker than a home PC.

How much does copy trading with Zebu cost?

MyAlgoMate's Copy Trading Software costs from ₹400 a month per account (+ GST), or ₹500 month to month. Every account counts, the master included, and a live setup needs at least one master and one child. Zebu's own API is separate. Check with Zebu for its current API charges. Zebu's brokerage on your trades is separate too.
